Simple breakfast

Last night I planned to make pizza, but dh was like “ugh”.  Ok, I told him I saw decent sized steaks at Tesco, so off we went.  Got four 8-10 oz steaks and we had that for dinner instead.  The kids shared 2 steaks btw the 3 of them.  Anyway, the dough meant for the pizza base, I made into rolls and breadsticks.  I used the rolls for this morning’s brkfst.  First, I sliced the rolls in half, buttered them to brown on a nonstick pan.  Along with those, I cracked an egg and folded the yolks with the whites.  There was enough space for a piece of ham.  After a couple of minutes, stack ’em up to make a yummy sandwich.  The rolls tasted like English muffins.  What’s missing was some hollandaise sauce to make it taste like eggs Benedict.   Man, forgot about a slice of cheese.  That would’ve been perfect, but fattening.  Yum!
